Who we are
The Maronite Young Adult (MYA) is a group of Maronite Catholic disciples who try to live the teaching of the Catholic Church and embrace Jesus in their daily lives. By their service, social, and spiritual activities, they seek to live the Gospel of mercy and compassion and grow in their relationship with Jesus and one another. The ages of members in the MYA are high-school graduates ranging from 18-35.
Community Involvement
The Maronite Young Adults of Saint Louis Gonzaga Church, Utica are committed to bettering the community. Each year, the organization hosts a "Young Adult Mixer" inviting all young adults in the greater Utica area for an evening of camaraderie and spiritual discussion. In addition to unifying Catholic young adults locally, the MYA hosts bi-annual Social Hours in which 100% of proceeds benefit a local charity. The MYA has raised $17,000 for local charities. The beneficiaries include;
