SAINT LOUIS GONZAGA CHURCH PRESENTS ONE OF THE LARGEST MIDDLE EASTERN FESTIVALS IN CNY- THE 8TH ANNUAL TASTE OF LEBANON

Utica, NY- Saint Louis Gonzaga invites you to their eighth annual Taste of Lebanon food and entertainment festival sponsored by Steet Auto Group! Enjoy authentic Lebanese cuisine and decedent Middle Eastern desserts. The festival is Friday, August 3, 5-9pm; Saturday, August 4, 1-9pm; and Sunday, August 5, 11am-4pm. The fundraiser will be held at Deerfield Fireman’s Field, 5476 Trenton Road, Utica.
A wide selection of Lebanese favorites will be offered such as hummus, stuffed grape leaves, gyros, baklava, fried dough, Lebanese coffee, and new to the menu this year – gryo bowls. Headlining the festival on Friday night at 6:30pm is Prime Time Horns. Award winning food celebrity, Julie Taboulie, will host a Mamoul (traditional Lebanese cookie) demonstration from 5-6pm on Saturday, with the band Classified playing live at 6:30pm. There will also be a clown and face painting for kids on Saturday & Sunday from 1-3pm.The entertainment is free, and so is admission and parking.

There will be raffles for $1,000 and $250 cash, 3rdgeneration Apple Watch, a catered party for 20 from Zeina’s Cafe, as well as a wide selection of specialty baskets. Proceeds from the festival will support church renovations. Located on Rutger Street in Utica, St. Louis Gonzaga Maronite Catholic Church is over 100 years old and has a rich tradition of sponsoring food and entertainment festivals.
